Founded in 2018, Thrive Therapy’s Executive Director is Carli Papas-Pasco, LCSW. The team serves a broad age range from 4 to 80+ with a broad range of needs ranging from individual and, couples, & family therapy, in individual and group settings, and even tele-health. The vibe at Thrive is one of home and safety rather than cold and overly “medical.” This creates an environment of safety.
Founder Carli Papas-Pasco, LCSW was in therapy herself back in 2009 when her counselor said, “You sound like a social worker – you should get paid for what you do.” Carli took this to heart, and the resulting educational and entrepreneurial result has been a thriving, welcoming, service-oriented business.
In addition to licensed counselors, Thrive welcomes interns and provides supervision services for professionals-in-training. Through The Bloom Mental Health Foundation, these interns serve people who may have high deductibles or other financial barriers to much-needed mental health services – often with low or even no cost. It’s a win-win for the counselor in training who gets to progress towards licensure, while also reaping the selfless rewards of serving others in need.
Fun facts: The founder’s heritage is Greek. Carli’s mother moved here in the 6th grade, and Carli is the family’s first generation born in the U.S.A. When not working she enjoys the outdoors (hiking) and indoors (video games).
